Saddlelite Certification Program

Our next 9-day workshops are October 5 - 13, 2007 and November 2 - 10, 2007.

Our Hearts & Hooves Therapeutic Certification Program was developed to guide others in establishing their own Affiliate Saddlelite Chapter of Hearts & Hooves. This tuition-based workshop will explain how to start your own program, how to work with clients requesting equine therapy, how to build your volunteer base, how to make your program grow and much more!

We currently have Saddlelites in Sacramento (CA), Edmonton (Canada), The Berkshires (MA), Abilene & Lubbock (TX) and Nashville (TN). All of our current Saddlelites are fully functioning and excited about their work in their communities.

The Certification Workshop entails nine (9) intensive full days of hands-on and working with an untrained mini (we work with a breeder to allow our new Saddlelites to choose a horse to work with during the workshop and available to purchase after the workshop at a specially discounted price). Breakfast will be provided as part of your tuition.

We will work with nearby motels in the area for your best relaxed sleeping after the intensive training to choose from. This is not covered in the tuition. If you would like to stay at the ranch, we do have this available, however it is a working ranch with dogs, cats, goats, horses, and other animals, many of whom are welcome to come indoors. Please note on the Affiliate Form if you would like to consider staying at the ranch, and we will contact you with more information.

Note: As we are a working ranch with horses, our therapy minis, herd dogs and barn and indoor cats, if you have allergies, please bring your allergy medications.
